"My name is Greg Sproul. I am an amateur long-distance runner and have been for the last twelve years. I am in my late fifties, and was talked into joining the "Strength and Stride" Biokinetics classes presented by Nicolas Danieli so as to improve my stamina for the 2 Oceans Ultra Marathon. It was simply the best decision I have ever made with respect to my running. The Oceans course was 12 weeks in duration with two 1-hour sessions per week. I could not believe how important strength training is for a runner until the results started coming in. After four weeks of Biokinetics classes I ran a Personal Best 30Km race, and felt amazingly strong afterwards. The proof came for two of us who attended the classes, when we completed the 2 Oceans Ultra Marathon straight after the 12-week course. Both of us improved our Personal Bests for the race by more than 25 minutes, and both of us felt absolutely amazing at the end of the race.
Having registered for the Comrades Ultra Marathon, I immediately registered for the next course, and have continued to get stronger in my running, and find my recovery times after distance running have continued to improve. As someone who considered stretching, warm-up and cool-down to be foreign terms, I have definitely had my eyes opened.
For anyone who would like to strengthen and improve themselves in whatever sport they partake, I would absolutely recommend "Strength and Stride" Biokinetics classes presented by Nicolas Danieli. He is the consummate professional in all that he does, and his classes are presented in such a way that everyone feels involved and a part of the session. Most importantly for me was that everyone in the class was at a different level of fitness and endurance, and Nicolas seamlessly assessed and adjusted each person's routine to cater for it. Similarly, he would address each individual prior to the class start to ensure that injuries or niggles, which are the joys of a long-distance runner, were never an issue.
Finally I would like to mention that someone at my age should be getting slower and slower each year, and yet has started speeding up. This is the ultimate testimony to what Nicolas has done for me. He has made running even more fun than it was before, and I cannot thank him enough." - July 2022

I had my hip operation in September last year with the complication of the DVT. I started my Biokinetic journey with you in December with one on one classes and then in January this year we started the Strength and Stride programmes.
Yesterday I ran my 1st half marathon pain free! I can honestly say that if it wasn't for the brilliant Strength and Stride program my progression would definitely not have been so good. My name is Greg, and I have been running for approximately 10 years. I started doing Biokinetics classes with Nick two years ago to strengthen my core and body in general. My progress has been unbelievable to say the least, the proof being continual improvements in my Personal Best (PB) times in the half marathon, 30km, marathon, 2 Oceans Ultra and Comrades since starting with Nick.
I have not changed anything in my running training, staying with the same programs that have helped me throughout my running career. The only thing that has changed is attending Nick's classes twice a week, which has increased my core and overall muscle strength considerably. This in turn has improved my endurance, and for someone who is rapidly approaching 60, to knock 40 minutes off my Comrades time is complete testament to what Nick has done for me.
I can highly recommend Nick's classes, he is extremely professional and concentrates on each person individually within the group environment. Most of the people I know that attend these classes, have been improving their running times in all distances. He has really made a difference to my running, and I cannot thank him enough.
